Despite the competitiveness of Argentina - who won against all three opponents - it was South Africa who took the title, decisively winning their decider 48-7, after losing the week before 29-28. It was their fifth title and first since 2019.
 
With two wins against Australia, New Zealand recovered from an awful set of results against the other two opponents, to claim second in the table ahead of Argentina, albeit in an undecisive manner.
