This set contains all 18 teams from both the Japanese League and the Japanese Second League to allow for the Promotion/Relegation Series matches. All teams have full team cards, with try scorers and individual goal kicking ranges, with the set also including control charts for both home-and-away and neutral venue matches.
 
All Japanese Second League matches have had estimated control numbers used to generate their part of the eventual control ratings.
 
Despite going through the regular season having won all 16 matches, and then defeating Yokohama 20-17 in the semi-final, Saitama fell at the final hurdle, with Tokyo BL claimed their first professional title and sixth overall, with a tight 24-20 victory in the final.
 
In the Promotion/Relegation Series, Second League leaders Urayasu returned to the top league with a sweep against last placed First Leaguers Hanazono, while Mie and Tokyo BR retained their places against Aichi and Tokatsu respectively.
