This set includes all 12 teams with full team cards (including try scorers and individual goal kicker ranges), home and away team ratings as well as separate home-and-away and neutral venue control charts. Also included in this set are ratings to determine if a try was scored "under the posts" which in this league season was an automatic seven points without a conversion (just like a penalty try, in the current laws).
After an offseason of upheaval that saw two teams (New York and Toronto) leave the league, and Atlanta move to Los Angeles, the seventh season of the American pro league saw New England retain their league title, and join their Championship Game opponents Seattle as the only two-time winners in league history.
Unlike in 2023 when along with San Diego, New England dominated the league, this time in winning the Eastern Conference again, they lost five matches. And the Western Conference was relatively close too, albeit with Houston winning 14 of 16 matches to finish ten points clear of Seattle.
After a struggle of an expansion year in winning only two matches in 2023, Dallas not only made the playoffs in 2024, but dispatched their Texas derby opponents in the conference semi-final, but could not make the Championship, as they were edged out by three points by Seattle. New England meanwhile had two close matches of their own, beating DC and then Chicago in the Conference Final, by less than a converted try in both cases.
With San Diego eliminated by two points in the conference semi-final by Seattle, they hosted a neutral final. And although both teams scored one try (each unconverted), five penalty goals to two was the whole difference, as New England matched their opponents' back-to-back title wins.
