This set contains all 14 teams from New Zealand's provincial league (second-level, below the Pacific Club League for New Zealand franchises). All teams have full team cards, with try scorers and individual goal kicking ranges, with the set also including control charts for both home-and-away and neutral venue matches.
 
Wellington topped the regular season table with nine wins out of ten - but their loss in the final round against Hawke's Bay, 20-18, also saw them lose the Challenge Shield.
 
And the champions would be beaten again two weeks later in the semi-final by the same time, 25-24 (albeit it was only close due to a converted try with the clock in the red), as Hawke's Bay made their first-ever final. They would meet Taranaki, who came in second after the regular season, and then beat perennial challengers Tasman and Canterbury to qualify for a hosted final.
 
In another close match, there was no scoring past the 55th minute as the New Plymouth side would lift their first title since 2014 with a 22-19 victory to deny their opponents their first-ever win.
