Poland became champions for the first time, on their home court in Gdańsk, when they defeated the United States 3-1 in the final, denying the Americans their first league title for a second year in a row (and third overall).

The United States and Poland both finished the regular season with 10-2 records - along with Japan - and the US ended the defending champions' France in their 2022 final rematch in the quarters, 15-9 in the fifth set, whilst Poland eased past Brazil 3-0. They then beat Japan 3-1 in the semis, with the USA defeating Italy 3-0 in their semi-final to set up the final.

But as happened to their women a week earlier, the Americans were denied the championship, as after sharing two tight sets, Poland raced to their first title, in front of their home fans, with two 25-18 set wins.

Japan claimed their best-ever finish when they held off Italy after losing a 2-0 lead, before taking the match 15-9 in the final set. For the Italians, it meant equally their best-ever finish of fourth from 2022.

At the bottom of the table, China were relegated to the Challenge League with a 2-10 record, and finishing behind Bulgaria and Iran on match points, as Cuba survived their promotion with a 3-9 record.
