This set contains all 18 teams from both the Japanese League and the Japanese Second League to allow for the Promotion/Relegation Series matches. All teams have full team cards, with try scorers and individual goal kicking ranges, with the set also including control charts for both home-and-away and neutral venue matches.

All Japanese Second League matches have had estimated control numbers used to generate their part of the eventual control ratings.

Defending champions Saitama finished first in the league stage, losing just once to mid-table Shizuoka, one point ahead of Funabashi, who had one draw against Yokohama as well as losing to Saitama. And the pair would meet in the final, as Saitama eased past Yokohama 51-20 and Funabashi squeezed past Tokyo S 24-18 in the semi-finals. And in a tight final, Haruto Kida's 69th minute try was enough for Funabashi to claim their first ever Japanese championship, 17-15.

In the Promotion/Relegation Series, despite only winning one game - against their Kansai rivals Kobe - in the First League regular season, Hanazono survived after beating runaway Second League leaders, Urayasu in both games, by an aggregate total of 92-36. Sagamihara also survived by defeating Aichi, but Mie were promoted after winning a pair of tight games against First League Tokatsu, who were thus relegated.
