This set contains full team cards for all 20 men's and 19 women's teams that competed at the 2022 World Cup, held in Antwerp, Belgium. Note: Dominican Republic women were unable to travel to Belgium and so withdrew - a card has been created, based on their ratings at the 2021 Pan-American Cup, and modified by ratings of teams who played in both tournaments; this card has been added for completeness should you like to include them.
 
After a three year break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the sport's historic Olympic debut in Tokyo, Serbia returned to dominance in the men's tournament, winning a fifth title in seven runnings. Defending champions USA lost to the hosts in pool play, and after surviving New Zealand 21-20 in the play-in round, they were heavily beaten 21-11 by Lithuania in the quarters. The Baltic country would make the final but were beaten 21-16 by the Serbs. It was still Lithuania's best-ever finish. France knocked off the host Belgians in the bronze game, 18-17 in overtime.
 
The women's tournament continued its openness though. After the USA won the first two World Cups, there have been five further unique winners, capped by France, who after losing to the States in pool play, won in overtime against Spain and then by a point, 17-16 versus defending champions China in the semis, before confirming gold with a 16-13 victory over Canada. Despite the final loss, it was the first medal won by the Canadians. China claimed back-to-back medal finishes with a 21-11 victory over Lithuania.
