All 13 teams are included with full team cards (including try scorers and individual goal kicker ranges), home and away team ratings as well as  separate home-and-away and neutral venue control charts. Also included in this set are ratings to determine if a try was scored "under the posts" which in this league season was an automatic seven points without a conversion (just like a penalty try, in the current laws).
 
A season that had grown to its highest number of clubs was derailed when the league announced prior to the playoffs that both Austin and defending champions Los Angeles were to be disqualified from the playoffs whilst they were the top two in the Western Conference. It was rumoured for salary cap violations, however the league has never revealed why - both clubs are also owned by the same owner.
 
With that, one of the beneficiaries, two-time defending champions Seattle won their way through to another final, however they were unable to defeat championship hosts, and a team that finished third in the Eastern Conference, New York, who lifted the title for the first time with a 30-15 victory in the final.
