I'm happy to announce to you that our two newest titles - Precision Volleyball and PSG Down Under Football are now available.
Like with the rest of the Precision Sports Games range of team sports, all ratings are based on team performance, with both games having individual cards for scoring if you want to add that on top of the game play.
Precision Volleyball is our long-awaited over many years interpretation of (indoor) volleyball. Each point is resolved based on two rolls of 2d10 - firstly to determine if the point is decided on the serve, and if not, secondly which team won the rally that followed the serve. We also have included a quick-play model for if point-by-point is not what you want to use for certain matches.
Our six sets at release are - all for £4.75 each - the 2021 (2020) Tokyo Olympics (which includes both men's and women's teams), the 2022 Men's World Championship, the 2022 Women's World Championship, the 2022 Men's Nations League and 2022 Women's Nations League (which includes the top 16 countries in a league format), and the 2022 Women's College Tournament Final 32 set.
Our college sets are based on performances during the tournament only, and not during the regular season - with the exception of the individual scoring cards given the low number of matches, although they have been created around the team's individual points scored at the tournament only.
A customer has been very kind to collect many other tournament data from the past already, and they requested the removal of colour and flags from the sets to ease their printing requirements. I have added this as an option to Precision Volleyball only, with sets being led by the designation (NCV). You can find these on the store.
Also now released for the first-time is our take on Australian rules football - PSG Down Under Football. The game uses some model techniques you may recognise from our Precision Rugby range of titles to generate a compressed version of a full-play mode, where teams will need to get into position on the oval to have a chance at scoring. The game uses a d20 to find the team gaining Control and four 2d6 to resolve whether they got into a scoring position and what score resulted (goal, behind, rushed behind or miss).
The game uses the Inside 50 stat to generate Control ratings, so we can go back to 1998, which is one of our first releases. Earlier seasons could be created if requested by using generic estimation, as we've done in our Precision Rugby titles. And like with Precision Volleyball, PSG Down Under Football, also comes with a quick-play mode if you want to use that for certain matches.
Our five sets at release are - for the Men's League, 1998, 2017 and 2022, all for £6.50 each, and for the Women's League, 2017 for £3, and 2022 (S7) for £4.75.
Until the end of April, all of these sets are available at an automatic discount of 20%. This will be reduced at checkout automatically, and will not need the use of a coupon code.
Additionally, we have released one new set for Precision Rugby 15s Edition - the just completed 2023 Men's European 6-Country Tournament set, for the competition won in a clean sweep of five wins by Ireland ahead of defending champions France. This is available for £3.
Thanks for reading, what was yet another long post, and I hope you will enjoy the two new titles having now been able to release them complete.
All the best,
Paul.
