Hello again. Here is the update for Precision Sports Games releases for November.
Remember that the re-opening sale remains in effect through to November 30th. All sets (new and old) are available for 20% off of your order when you use the discount code REOPENING20 at checkout.
Following the massive number of releases to catch-up with at the relaunch last month, this month we have a more normal number of eight sets now available- five sets for Precision Rugby 15s Edition, two for Precision Handball and one for Precision Street Basketball.
For Rugby 15s, there are three new league sets - the first is the regular now 2022 New Zealand Provincial League set, which contains all 14 teams that compete in the top level provincial-level tournament. Wellington returned to the top of the tree with their first title in 22 years, as well as claiming the Challenge Shield during the season from the long-time defenders Hawke's Bay. This set is available for £6.50.
I've also added two new leagues to the game. Firstly, the inaugural (as a professional, non-industrial league) 2022 Japanese League set is also available for £6.50. Japan has always been a league for players around the world to go for a year or two on 'sabbatical' for the experience of rugby in a new land (as well as no doubt the riches on offer). This set contains all 18 teams from the first and second divisions (to allow for playing the Promotion/Relegation Series).
Additionally, for any women's rugby fans, the 2021-22 English League has been added. One of, if not the biggest, women's club competition in the world, all 10 teams are included in the set, which is available for £4.75.
There are also two new international sets. Firstly, the just completed 2022 (2021) Women's World Cup held in New Zealand. All 12 countries qualified to the tournament are included with full team cards, at the tournament which saw some incredibly close semi-finals before a similarly tight final which saw the hosts retain the title against England. This set is also available for £4.75.
Finally, I had said that there would be no more historic tournament sets (outside World Cups) due to the loss of a well-known rugby statistics website, but I found that I had already got all of the data collected for the 1988 Men's European 5-Country Tournament before it shut, so I've now carded the set for anyone interested. The set is available for £3.
Now on to the other two games - firstly, Precision Handball now has the 2022 Men's Club World Cup for the full play game available, with all 12 clubs included with full and basic cards, for £3. Also, the 2021-22 League Edition set is now released. As I posted previously, following many years of requests by customers, the set no longer includes goal scorers cards, but to give you a bit more content I've added the second-level European competition for both men and women to the usual first-level competitions and the top two divisions in the men's German and French leagues. The set price has been reduced down to the £4.75 tier.
And lastly, for Precision Street Basketball, the 2022 Pan-American Cup is released for £4.75. All 12 countries in the men's and women's tournaments who qualified to the main competition are rated in this set, which was won again by the United States on the men's side, but Canada, who ended the Americans' undefeated run at the tournament, won for the first time on the women's.
Thanks for reading. With the sale period coming to an end, I've decided to be fair to all, and not add any further files to the webstore before it runs out on November 30th. Sets for competitions currently ongoing which will be included in the next update (and added to the webstore whenever I finish them, but no earlier than December 1st) include the Men's and Women's World Cup for Rugby 13s, the Women's European Championship for Handball, and the Internationals/'Nation League' set for Rugby 15s.
