Following an email question, just to make it clear to all Rugby 15s or Rugby 13s players, that when you're using a set with separate home and away ratings for teams (mostly club leagues) you use all the ratings from the same line.
Image: Partial team ratings section from the 2021-22 English League set for Precision Rugby 15s Edition.
So from using the partial section in the image above, if Bath are playing at home to Bristol, you will use all the ratings from the home team section for Bath and the away team section for Bristol.
So for Bath, their home TRY! rating of 11-22 will be modified by Bristol's away TRY! Def rating of +4 to become 11-26. And their home Kick at Goal rating of 61-65 will be modified by the away Discipline rating of +2 to become 63-65.
For Bristol, their away TRY! rating of 11-22 will be modified by Bath's home TRY! Def rating of +3 to become 11-25. And their away Kick at Goal rating of 62-65 will be modified by the home Discipline rating of +1 to become 63-65.
(If it was Bristol at home, their home TRY! rating of 11-24 is modified by Bath's away TRY! Def rating of +5 to become 11-33, and their home Kick at Goal rating of 56-65 is modified by the away Discipline rating of +0 so is unchanged.
For Bath, their away TRY! rating of 11-22 is modified by Bristol's home TRY! Def rating of +0 so is unchanged, and their away Kick at Goal rating of 61-65 is modified by the home Discipline rating of +0 so is also unchanged.)
I will add this as a clarification in both Rugby 15s and Rugby 13s rulebooks at their next revision.
